Handwoven recycled silk yarn with lavender kettle dyed wool yarn from Uruguay. Himalaya recycled silk yarn is made of mill end sari silk fabric. The colors are random with no pattern. The sari silk, by being randomly spun together, creates a silk yarn with a ragged or distressed look.
By purchasing this product, you are supporting women's development groups in Nepal who are producing this recycled silk. They spin it into usable yarn in their own homes. You are also supporting Uruguayan village women who dye and spin the wool yarn in this scarf.
Scarf measures 60" (2m) long and 4" (10cm) wide with 2" (6cm) fringe on each end.
Hand wash, lay flat to dry.
